MACHINIST

We are looking for a hardworking, dependable individual interested in learning machining and developing a career in precision manufacturing.

NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED – ON-THE-JOB TRAINING PROVIDED.

Responsibilities & Training

Training will include:

• CNC mill operation

• CNC lathe operation

• Lathe and hand machining of honeycomb seals and precision components

• Hand tooling, finishing, deburring, and other manual machining operations

• Inspection of parts using micrometers, calipers, height gages, and other precision measuring equipment

• Reading drawings, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation

• Furnace operation and basic furnace processing procedures

• Maintaining quality and accuracy throughout the manufacturing process

• Keeping machines, tools, and work areas clean and organized

• Following company safety, quality, and production procedures

 

Qualifications

• No previous machining experience required

• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance

• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn

• Good attention to detail

• Comfortable working with tools, machinery, and precision equipment

• Basic math skills

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

• Previous manufacturing, machining, automotive, mechanical, welding, fabrication, or other hands-on experience is a plus, but not required
